¼ cup butter
4 cups cups miniature marshmallows or 40 regular marshmallows
½ tsp vanilla
5 cups rice krispies

Melt butter in a 3 Liter saucepan.

Add marshmallows and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted.

Add Rice Krispies and stir until coated. Press into a buttered 9x13 pan.

Optional ideas are:
Sprinkle cake decorating sprinkles on top of the pan of rice krispies or add a chocolate icing

You can press the rice krispies on a piece of wax or parchment paper and then use cookie cutters to cut out different shapes and decorate

You can substitute cheerios or CHEX cereal instead of rice krispies

You can also use this recipe for coating popcorn and jujubes and making popcorn balls.
